TURKEY
CHILI CUMIN RUB
1/4 tsp.
Chili powder
1/4 tsp.
Cumin
CHIPOTLE AIOLI
2 tbsp.
Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp.
Chipotle chiles in adobe sauce
BLACK BEAN SALSA
2 tbsp.
Black beans, canned
2 tbsp.
Pico de gallo salsa, prepared
OTHER
1/8 tsp.
Salt
1/2 tsp.
Neutral oil
1 slice
Cheddar cheese
1 each
Burger bun
1 tbsp.
Green chiles, canned
3 slices
Avocado, sliced
Directions
STEP 1
For chile cumin rub: Mix chile powder and cumin together.
STEP 2
For chipotle aioli: Stir chipotle chiles into mayonnaise. Reserve.
STEP 3
For black bean salsa: Stir together beans and pico de gallo salsa. Reserve.
STEP 4
Season turkey burger with salt and chili cumin rub.
STEP 5
To pan fry, pour 1/2 tsp. of oil in saute pan or on flat top.
STEP 6
Grill burger about 4 minutes. Turn and cook the second side 3 minutes. Place the cheese slice on the burger and cook 1 minute more.
STEP 7
Split bun and toast. Spread both sides with chipotle aioli.
STEP 8
Place the black bean salsa and green chiles on the bottom of the bun. Top with burger, avocado slices and top of bun.
