California Turkey Burger

Savory or Hickory Smoked Turkey Burger, California-style: Avocado, red onion, Bibb lettuce, sprouts and melted Havarti on a sesame seed bun, slathered with green goddess dressing.

TURKEY

1 each

Natural White Savory Turkey Burgers, 4 oz. (#96379)

GREEN GODDESS DRESSING

2 tbsp.
Mayonnaise
2 tbsp.
Sour cream
1 tbsp.
Chives, minced

3/4 tbsp.

Dijon mustard

1/2 tbsp.

Lemon juice

1/2 clove

Garlic, minced

1/8 tsp.

Salt

1/8 tsp.

Pepper

BREAD & CHEESE

1 each

Sesame seed hamburger buns

1 oz.

Havarti cheese

PRODUCE

1 leaf

Bibb lettuce

1/2 each

Avocado, sliced

2 slices

Red onion

1/8 cup

Directions

STEP 1
For the turkey burgers: Cook turkey burgers from frozen for about 7 minutes on each side, or until you reach an internal temperature of 165° F. Just before the burgers are finished cooking, top with the havarti cheese, and allow the cheese to melt.
STEP 2
Open the buns and place the inside part of the bun on the grill, toast for one minute.
STEP 3
For the green goddess dressing, combine all ingredients for the dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve in refrigerator at least 1 hour prior to use.
STEP 4
Place the lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, then the turkey burger, avocado, onions, and sprouts. Spread the dressing on the top part of the bun, and serve open faced.
STEP 5
Serve with a side of mixed fruit.
