Antibiotic Free… No Antibiotics Ever… what does it all mean?

You may have heard “antibiotic-free” raised poultry being talked about lately. But what does it mean for a restaurant operator, cafeteria manager or a hospital nutritionist?

Like “GMO,” the antibiotic free term has been occasionally been mis-defined. But Dr. Charles Corsiglia, a veterinarian who oversees the health and welfare of Foster Farms poultry, simplifies “ABF” and busts some myths about what it means — and doesn’t mean!

And don’t get confused by all the labels!  You might also hear about No Antibiotics Ever (NAE).  ABF and NAE are the same.  NAE is simply a marketing term used by some poultry companies, including Foster Farms
