
It was a rumble in the culinary jungle. Nine teams from leading West Coast restaurants partnered with ProStart culinary students in Culinary Clash, a fast-paced cooking competition hosted by the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The annual event helped kick off the 2016 Western Foodservice and Hospitality Expo Aug. 28 in Los Angeles.
BJ’s Restaurant & Taphouse and Yard House battled to a tie for the Ingredient Award, sponsored by Foster Farms!
But competition was fierce for other awards among the competitors which also included RealMex, Hard Rock Cafe, Specialty Restaurant Corp., Chart House, Urban Plates, Broderick Roadhouse and Black Bear Diner.
